China's titanium resources amounted to 9.65 tons, ranking first in the world, accounting for 38.85% of the world's proven reserves. Mainly concentrated in Yunnan, Sichuan, Guangdong, Guangxi and Hainan, the Panxi (Panzhihua Xichang) region is China's largest base of titanium resources, reserves of 8.7 tons. The Jin Hongshi of Hubei province (TiO2) sheet reserves (5344300 T) similar total reserves (7508600 t 71.2%), Shanxi (1547900 T) accounted for 20.6%, Shaanxi accounted for 5.9% (444000 t).
